Water color tulip

I really liked this one until we got to the leaves.  Mine doesn't really look like a leaf.

First attempt at water colors-winter trees.

This week, I took a class on water colors.  I painted winter trees.  The video did a great job teaching the trees, but didn't do a background so I attempted one on my own.  The front tree is definitely my favorite part, but all-in-all not a bad first attempt!

Ballerina

I was super stressed out yesterday, so what better to paint than a ballerina?  I still think I prefer landscapes though.  This class was by The Art Sherpa (Click Here for the class)

This weeks painting was from http://youtu.be/8yF5NpDdI4Q.  It is a channel that seems to teach paintings once a week or so.  They are absolutely wonderful and go really slow.  It was extremely relaxing.  My favorite was part was at the beginning, we wrote wishes in chalk on our blank canvas (or paper in my case) before painting over.  That makes this painting so much more special.  There is a bit of a glare on the painting, but you get the idea!

Piano 1- All in all

Some of you may know, I picked up piano a few months ago.  I try to practice 15-30 minutes a day.  I decided to try to record one song a month, so I can see my progress.  This is from Praise Hits Complete Level 1.  I don't have any good recording materials besides my phone, so sorry for that!

Birthday painting fix up

So this was what the painting was supposed to look like.  

This is what was taught.  

Something was bothering me.  I thought it was that the dandelion was floating in mid air, so I added a stem.

I realized that it drove me nuts that it was only in one corner with a ton of empty space, so I fixed it this morning :)
