Birthday Painting

Last night we took a painting class for my birthday!  If I were to do this again, I would make the Dandelion bigger!  I like how relaxing and whimsical it is!

Spring flower

A little cold for this, but it certainly brings some color.  This teacher went a tad too fast and was bad about explaining things a little too late, but all-in-all a nice painting!  I really need to work on my spacing and shaping!

Bird in the sunset

Well I was definitely not happy with the bird this week.  Well he actually didn't teach how to make it and recommended tracing.  Oh well, live and learn.  Also,  painting paper is definitely harder to use than canvas!

Love birds in the fall

I added a painting class app to my phone and this was the first one.  Fun, simple, and therapeutic.

Santa clause is coming to town

Well I attempted my first portrait.  You can certainly tell it's a first and with no training, but not bad for a self taught first try!
